The Keller-Wedekind-Foundation (KWS) promotes contemporary figurative art in Switzerland. The foundation makes purchases for the KWS collection and shows a selection of them in exhibitions held every two years at the Museum Franz Gertsch. Alternately, it awards the KWS Art Prize every two years.

For the third time, an exhibition in the Cabinet of the Museum Franz Gertsch provides an insight into the Keller-Wedekind Foundation’s collection, this time focusing on the genre of still life.
The selection of paintings, works on paper, photography and video highlights the artistic depiction of inanimate objects such as flowers, books, fruit, dead animals, glasses, instruments and the like, as well as their contextual and symbolic meaning.
